When you are mustering it is best if you have everyone in a formation and organuzed. Everyone will do it from the top down, and even if no one is looking for it, they think they are willing to do the right thing.
For one the accountability of personnel is major, it plays a big role in the deployment and the readiness of soldiers.
Being accountable means being in the right place on time, right place, and in the right uniform. I think the whole reason for having accountability is so we get to work on time, so we stay safe and if we were to get into trouble someone could come get us.
From having your meal card for chow to going out on the weekends and having a safe way home if you are not able to do so on your own. Consequences when you do something wrong could mean that you can lose your job or just get a warning. You may know that there are various kinds of works, such as military responsibility, discussion, apparent papers, etc.
Also so our organization runs smooth. I understand.
It ties into many basic aspects of being a soldier such as discipline and the army values. It will effect your squad, leadership and your company.
It is also necessary to have accountability to make sure everyone in my class, platoon, or unit is safe and to make sure they are where they are supposed to be.
